| Every October,
many of the best striped bass anglers
on the East Coast sign up their boats and crews to
compete in LBI's final fishing tournament of the season. Our
weekend-long competition benefits local charities such as Beach Haven
Volunteer First Aid Squad, Neighbors in Need, The LBI Community Activities
Center in Beach Haven and the LBI Museum. In 2005, the Tourney
raised $14,000 for the First Aid Squad. The Sea Shell's club, motel and restaurant provides everything needed on site, except of course for the bass. Besides great fishing, we offer plenty of social activities
such as banquets, cocktail parties and the Grand Awards Banquet & Family
Fish Fry on
Sunday. As well as, deluxe accommodations at our oceanfront
